Each enteric coated capsule contains:
Lactobacillus Acidophilus/Lactobacillus Casei subsp. rhamnosus 280 mg.

Other ingredients: maltodextrin, gelatin, cellulose enteric coating.

Each capsule contains 2.8 billion live organisms from specially selected strains of lactobacillus acidophilus and lactobacillus casei subsp. rhamnosus. Enteric coating allows product to pass through harsh stomach acids and deliver live organisms to lower bowel for 100% effectiveness. MUST BE REFRIGERATED.

PHYSIOLOGY:
As much as 98% of the fragile, living organisms in many acidophilus powders, liquids and capsules are destroyed by harsh stomach acids before they reach the lower intestinal tract. Because of its special enteric coating, Acidophilus E.C. passes through stomach acids intact to deliver maximum potency to the lower intestinal tract where it is needed to restore and/or maintain a balance of healthful organisms and inhibit the growth of pathogenic organisms. MUST BE REFRIGERATED.

INDICATIONS:
High potency acidophilus supplementation is indicated to restore proper intestinal flora in digestive disturbances, parasitic infestation and yeast infections such as Candida Albicans.

A special enteric coating allows Acidophilus E.C. and Bifido Plus E.C. capsules to pass through harsh stomach acids intact to deliver maximum potency to the lower intestinal tract where they are needed most. Along with specially selected strains of live lactobacillus acidophilus and bifido bacterium (in Bifido Plus E.C.), these enteric coated capsules contain lactobacillus casei subsp. rhamnosus, a strain which is highly resistant to antibiotics and other drugs that may be present in the intestines. The easy-to-swallow capsules give better patient compliance than powders that must be mixed and these products are hypoallergenic.

Acidophilus E.C. and Bifido Plus E.C. contain no whey, soy, corn, wheat, yeast or preservatives. Since the organisms are grown and packaged in a base of maltodextrin, these products are milk free.
