WHAT TO DO WHEN
THERE IS A COMMUNITY ALERT
First, if there is a community
alert regarding an exposure to toxins, you can support your body
for that possibility by using the following suggested remedies
from the Basic 12.
Arsenicum alb. is taken in general for
viruses or bacteria, such as yellow fever or anthrax.
Nux-vomica is taken in general for chemicals, such as sarin and
cyanide. Hypericum is taken for tetanus, which is a bacterial
infection which may develop in any wound.
These remedies may be taken
one dose daily (3 pellets). The remedies, which come in the form of white
pellets, should be touched only by the person taking them. Use the cap to
measure the dose. If your supply is limited, a dose may be taken by inhalation,
being sure to avoid breathing into the vial. Recap the vial quickly. Keep
remedies away from strong odors, dampness and direct sunlight so that the
energy of the pellets is not lost.
Second, in
any emergency situation with actual exposure, the
following remedies may always be taken immediately: Aconite or Arnica.
If collapse is present take Carbo-veg or Sulphur.

the description that best matches your symptom or
complaint. After the symptom is a list of the best remedies from the
Basic 12 to take for that particular problem. It is suggested to try
them in the order listed. Read the scenario for more specific instructions
on how to take the remedies.

SCENARIO You are having your usual day and suddenly you and several others
begin complaining of stomach cramps. The symptoms increase to abdominal pain
and vomiting. You consider taking your homeopathic remedies because the
outbreak may be due to an exposure to a chemical, virus or
bacteria.
DIRECTIONS First, take Aconite or Arnica. Aconite is the remedy for fear,
fright, or sudden extreme happenings. Arnica is the remedy for any trauma,
wound, or injury. In any emergency situation always take immediately: Aconite
or Arnica. Carbo-veg or Sulphur may be used if the symptom is total physical
collapse.Second, look at your main complaint
and find it on the list above. Third, begin
taking the first remedy. Take 3 pellets for each dose. HOW TO USE THE LIST
Symptoms should begin to improve or
change within 5 minutes. 1) If you experience
no change in the intensity of the symptom, then try a repeat dose of the same
remedy. Continue taking the same remedy every 5 minutes or so until you feel an
improvement or a change.
2) If the symptom is worse in
intensity, then take a dose of the next remedy on the
list. Any time the symptom becomes worse, take the next remedy on the
list for that symptom. 3) If there is a change in your
symptoms (or if you feel better with the first symptom but a different symptom
appears), then consult the list again for that new symptom and take its
remedies following the same pattern described above.
If a "wrong" remedy is chosen, it won't help, yet it will not harm
you, so keep trying different remedies until improvement
is seen. If you forgot your list, just start on the Basic 12 Remedies and
try one at a time every 5 minutes until improvement. Even if no alert of
community exposure comes forth, you will not be hurt by having taken the
remedies. However, do not consider Homeopathy to be a substitute for regular
medical emergency and preventative practices. Homeopathic remedies, regular
